Citizens are invited to go behind the scenes of Lumpkin County Government’s departments through the 2020 Lumpkin County 101 Citizens Academy. Lumpkin County 101 is a FREE 12-week program designed to provide an in-depth look at the diverse functions of county government. Classes will include information on special projects, emergency services, finance, planning, and other vital community services. Sessions will meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. and will be held in various locations throughout the county. Lumpkin County 101 is open to the public. Applicants must be 18 years old, a resident of Lumpkin County and be able to pass a background check. Opportunities to register for this class will be coming soon!
