Lumpkin County Public Building Authority Meeting

At the annual meeting of the Lumpkin County Public Building Authority, held on December 20, 2019, the members voted to allow the Board of Commissioners to expend the interest earned on the 2002 SPLOST program for public purposes in accordance with state law.   One million dollars from the fund’s investment earnings will go toward the construction of the new county library.  The remaining $993,000 will be used for the public purpose of park and recreation facilities in Lumpkin County.
